UrbanFlow.art is a studio in Berlin, founded by Susanne Kohl and Thomas Helzle.
We work in 3D, design, graphics and sound for 35+ years and UrbanFlow is the culmination of all that time and experience.
Projection mapping allows us to bring together our love for characterful physical objects and sculptures with our passion for animation, sound and poetry.
In this combination we explore the space between abstract and organic, inspired by math as much as by nature. We especially love smoothly flowing forms and 'complex simplicity', so that everything feels alive.
A large horn speaker is the canvas on which we project a living, breathing flower.
A huge movie spotlight transformed into a mesmerizing oscilloscope, painted with sound.
An old beloved Piano is brought alive with flowing patterns.
A living painting on a 3D-printed light sculpture.
A music video for Tom Adams song "Lines" from the "Golden Waves Sessions".
